Samyang announced an update to it’s Nikon version of 85mm f1.4 lens. It is said that this is a new generation of portrait lens, with a new type of anti-reflective coating and built-in chip transmitting data to the camera focal length, aperture and other parameters. Other parameters remain unchanged.
This is a news that was almost unobserved in the photographic world… This Samyang lens which is basically identical with Rokinon or Vivitar is an interesting option for people on low budget – the lens receiving good appreciation on forums, despite it’s lack of autofocus.
